Wingman Matt is a mission-based business focused on giving back. Built on a perfected recipe that requires no dipping sauce, our signature menu item—a broasted, chipotle chicken wing—doesn’t need much of an introduction; but the true flavor of Wingman Matt comes from the hearts of its founders, Bill and John.

John’s son Matt suffered with cancer throughout his childhood and, while in the hospital, his heart broke for other children around him whose parents were unable to be bedside with them. Although Matt’s physical battle with cancer came to an end in 2018, he lives on as our “wingman.” Our mission is to keep the fire of Matt’s heart alive by supporting the families of those fighting pediatric cancer.

In his honor, Wingman Matt donates a portion of profits to the Wingman Matt Patient and Family Assistance Fund through University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital which goes toward helping families with non-medical expenses, allowing them to spend more time supporting and spending time with their loved one.
